Tip of the day

A north facing and a south facing room don't need the same colours or lighting. Always check before the orientation of the room before planning your new design.

Product of the week 2

Don't ask me why, but I have that thing for wallpaper. I lovel browsing and looking at all sorts of wallpapers, and imagine where they would go and how they could transform a room. Recently, as I was looking for my favourite carpets in Chelsea Harbour, I discovered that the carpet showroom was shared with another designer, Thibaut (http://www.thibautdesign.com/) who had the most amazing grass wallpapers.

Grass wallpaper are fantastic, they have that "nature" natural feel, even if they have been teinted. Their look is always different and are sort of unpredictible. They give a sophisticated but not overwhelming look to a room. They come with all sorts of background colours, that can match any colour scheme.

Of course it was not the first time I could see this sort of beautiful wall covering, but this time I found that they were affordable, you get them by the roll (a wider roll), and not per squarre meter.

I can't wait to use one of them in a project and will show you photos in situ!

  1. They are really nice Emma, and as you say not too expensive... which is a good thing. Now I just need a room needing decoration :)
